Chapter 2. My 11 principles of business style

The way I push through a business deal is very simple and clear. I aim high and keep moving forward. Sometimes I can’t reach the aim, but for the most times, I achieve the goals I want.

When he look back on the successful deals, there are some things in common even for the failed and missed deals. The principles below are those common things.

  1. Think BIG
  2. Always predict for the worst case
  3. Broaden the choice boundaries as much as possible
  4. Investigate on the market with your feet
  5. Use the leverage
  6. Focus on the strategies not on the locations
  7. Exploit the media
  8. Resist for your beliefs
  9. Make the BEST product
  10. Large hope with appropriate cost
  11. Make the business a fun game

Chapter 3. Growth

Trump was largely influenced by his father. Trump’s father was a construction businessman. The construction industry is tough. His father let Trump know how to respond toughly, how to lead people, and what the competition and efficiency are. Trump even went to collect money when his father was running apartments rental business. During this time Trump had a bigger dream than his father. He wanted to do a bigger in scale, luxurious, and interesting business.

He has been offensive and stubborn since childhood. He even had hit his teacher in the elementary school when he didn’t like what the teacher said. His father knew that Trump could grow in the wrong way if he grew with no other restrictions, so Trump was put to the military school. Trump learned many things about leadership on the school.
